### Slow Fire Drill

The Slow Fire Drill is designed to verify sight zero and reinforce basic shooting fundamentals at various distances. Shooters perform five shots on target from 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards. Each shot reinforces the basics and the shooter also verifies sight zero.

### Five-Second Drill

The Five-Second Drill is an opportunity to refresh muscle-memory and make sure every moment from the draw to the shot placement is correct. Shooters have five seconds to draw and fire a single shot. This drill starts at 3 yards, then progresses to 5, 7, and 10 yards. All shots must be in the A-zone of the target.

### Three-Grasp Drill

The Three-Grasp Drill is conducted from 3, 5, 7, and 10 yards. Shooters draw and fire two shots from their preferred two-hand stance, then shoot two rounds strong hand only and then two rounds weak hand only. This drill reinforces the shooter's ability to handle different shooting stances and positions.

### Shoot And Move Drill

The Shoot And Move Drill requires shooters to move while engaging targets. Shooters fire five shots moving forward, then five shots retreating. Then, they begin at the 10-yard line and leave a magazine on the ground at the 3-yard line. At the start signal, they move forward firing until they have reached the point where they placed the fresh magazine.

### Shoot - Reload - Shoot Drill

The Shoot - Reload - Shoot Drill is designed to test shooters' ability to reload quickly and efficiently. At 10 yards, facing a single target, shooters draw and fire six rounds, then reload and fire another six rounds as fast as possible while keeping all hits within the A-zone of the target.

### El Presidente Drill

The El Presidente Drill is conducted at 10 yards with three targets placed one yard apart. At the signal, shooters draw and fire two rounds on each target, reloading after engaging all three. Then, they re-engage each target with two more rounds as fast as possible while keeping all hits within the A-zone of the target.

Once the shooter can perform this drill consistently well, they should move to the traditional version of the El Presidente Drill: starting with their back to the targets, shooters turn and draw, engaging each target with two rounds, performing a mandatory reload, and re-engaging each target with two more rounds. Alternatively, after reloading, shooters can aim for the head of each target with either one or two rounds, focusing on precision and control. This variation helps develop the shooter's ability to "change gears" and transition from rapid-fire shots to precise shots on demand.
