#  Texas Gun Laws 

In the United States, Texas boasts some of the most relaxed gun regulations, making it a sought-after destination for firearm aficionados. Nevertheless, comprehending the state's rules surrounding firearms is crucial, particularly when seeking a Texas License to Carry (LTC). In Texas, individuals aged 21 or older who fulfill specific eligibility criteria can apply for an LTC, allowing them to carry concealed handguns in public while adhering to state regulations.

To acquire an LTC in Texas, applicants need to finish a firearms training course encompassing a range of topics such as firearm safety, non-violent conflict resolution, and use of force laws. A certified instructor must teach the course, which should include both classroom and range lessons. After course completion, applicants submit their application to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and undergo a background check. The DPS has a 60-day window to process the application and, if the applicant is eligible, issue the license.
