It's important to note that each state has its own specific concealed carry laws, which may have different requirements or restrictions. For example, some states may only honor a Texas non-resident CHL/LTC, while others may require specific training or a minimum age to carry a concealed firearm. For website owners or content writers, it is essential to have accurate and up-to-date information to optimize their sites for search terms related to concealed carry laws and reciprocity agreements. The Texas Department of [Public](/concealed-carry-in-texas/a-national-study-finds-the-number-of-americans-carrying-handguns-doubled-in-4-years "A National Study Finds the Number of Americans Carrying Handguns Doubled in 4 Years") Safety's website offers a comprehensive list of states that honor the Texas CHL/LTC and should be referred to regularly for the most current and accurate information. This map was created and is regularly updated using the Texas DPS website data. Keeping our CCW reciprocity map up to date is a high priority.
