2017 LTC/Non-LTC Convictions: INDECENCY W/A CHILD EXPOSES

Introduction

The purpose of this article is to compare crime statistics between Texas LTC and non-LTC holders for INDECENCY W/A CHILD EXPOSES for 2017. INDECENCY W/A CHILD EXPOSES is defined as: “Engaging in sexual conduct with, exposing an intimate part of one’s body to, or causing a child to view sexual conduct of any person involving the touching, caressing, or fondling of another person’s intimate parts” (Texas Penal Code 21.11). By studying the relationship between LTC holders and crime statistics, we can gain insight into the safety of individuals holding a license to carry.
