Examining the difference between LTC holders and non-LTC holders is important as it provides insight on ways to ensure public safety.

Crime statistics among Texas LTC holders for Assault Public Servant for 2021 shows 1 conviction out of 1,841,602 LTC holders, which is a 0.01% conviction rate. Non-LTC holders had a much higher total number of convictions at 949 out of 35,097,992, which is a 2.71% conviction rate.
